Tyler FC traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma Sunday September, 29 to face Tulsa Athletic U-23 for their second game of the UPSL season. TFC started the game off with an early goal from #9 Javier Leonor. Tulsa defender Nathan Ross failed to clear a ball and landed at the feet of the Kings leading goal scorer #9 Javier Leonor, he was able to dribble past defenders and goalkeeper for a simple finish putting Tyler up 1-0 in the 5th minute.
Shortly after Tyler left back Diego Deluna was caught in possession of the ball and Tulsa were able to steal and score equalizing the game 1-1 in the 17th minute.
In the 25th minute #10 Karl Pierre was fouled inside the box and Center Midfielder Ivan Jacovljevic took the penalty putting Tyler Kings up 2-1. The next goal wouldn’t come until the second half, when in the 66th minute #7 Ivan Jacovljevic scored receiving a brilliant pass after a great run from Jimmy Sandoval. Giving Ivan Jacovljevic his second goal of the game in his first game of the UPSL season. Also putting Jimmy Sandoval at his 3rd assist in 2 games.
Though it may have seemed that the Kings were in full control of the game, in the last 15 minutes of the game Tulsa Athletic scored 3 goals! (75th, 86th, 90+) and defeating the Tyler Kings 4-3 and continuing their undefeated run at 3-0.
Though loss for Tyler, however the Kings next game will be the first home game of the UPSL season vs FF Premier out of Dallas, Texas.
